Erik MacKechnie Training Coach BHSI (1998)
World Class Development Coach, Paralympics representative for Scotland and RDA Dressage representative, Erik has competed to Advanced level dressage and has a wide circle of clients all over Scotland. Erik is responsible for the on going development of the other coaches.
Lorna Hastings Senior Coach BHSII (2010)
In addition to being a very popular Coach, Lorna is also involved in the conception and running of various events and demos taking place at the Equestrian School. Lorna qualified for, and competed in, the Royal Windsor Horse Show in 2011 with one of the Gleneagles school horses, Brenda, (the pair are pictured above) and is currently training for the UKCC level 3 qualification specialising in showjumping.
Kirsty Green Coach BHSAI (Stage 4) (2001)
Kirsty gained her AI whilst teaching, competing, backing young horses and producing them for sale between 1991 - 2001. After running her own livery for 5 yrs Kirsty took the Yard Managers position at Gleneagles where she achieved her Stage 4 riding. Kirsty now has a family and coaches part time, she has entered for the Intermediate teaching exam at the end of October and Stage 4 care at the beginning of October 2012. Kirsty has also competed in British Dressage up to medium and qualified for the Scottish Dressage Champs in 2009 & 2010.
Kate Bowie Flexi-Coach BHSAI (Int. SM) (2008)
Kate actually gained her BHSAI after completing an Intensive Training Course at Gleneagles. She became a popular member of the Coaching team, and though she is now pursuing her own career as a rider / trainer in the Stirlingshire area, she is still a valued member of the team in busy periods.
Clare Jacobs BHSAI (2011)
Clare, like Kate, gained her BHS exams whilst training at Gleneagles on a 3 month Intensive Training Course. After gaining further experience breaking and training horses for clients, Clare returned to Gleneagles in 2012 and is now a popular and busy member of the coaching team. Clare is currently training for her Stage 4 and IT exams.
Terri Comrie BHSPI (2012)
Terri has worked at Gleneagles for several years, training and gaining her BHS exams along the way. Terri is very popular with the children she teaches and spends much of the summer escorting trail rides.
Christina Davidson BHSPI (2012)
As a child, Christina was a member of Gleneagles Pony Club, and later stabled her own ponies at Gleneagles. Christina now showjumps in her spare time and looks after the next generation of Gleneagles Pony Club children.
