Beginner Golf Schools
Please note that the Golf Schools for 2012 have now been completed. The prices listed are for 2012. We will be updating the rates and Golf School dates for 2013 shortly.
For those who struggle to find time for a series of golf lessons we have the perfect solution. A golf school at Gleneagles is a great way to fit in all you need whilst also getting away from your day to day routine.
Beginner golf lessons concentrate on learning the fundamental aspects of the game from set-up; to long-game, short-game and putting actions; rules and etiquette; equipment choices; introduction to the golf course environment; while all the while ensuring that you continue to have FUN during every step of the learning process. We offer a one or a two day beginners golf school.
All Golf Schools are subject to a minimum of two people attending and a maximum of four.
One Day Golf School - Beginner
A one day golf school for any level of ability is only £399 per person based on two people sharing a Classic twin or double room (Single supplement applies) and includes the following:
- Overnight stay at The Gleneagles Hotel
- Full Scottish breakfast
- 8 hours of golf tuition
- Two course lunch in the Dormy Clubhouse Bar and Grill

Two Day Golf School - Beginner
A two day golf school for any level of ability is only £799 per person based on two people sharing a Classic twin or double room (Single supplement applies) and includes the following:
- Two night stay at The Gleneagles Hotel
- Full Scottish breakfast each morning
- 14 hours of golf tuition
- Two course lunch on both days in the Dormy Clubhouse Bar and Grill
- Beginners will also be entitled to 18 holes of golf on the Wee Course whilst intermediate and advanced level golfers will be entitled to a round of golf on the PGA Centenary Course, host venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup Matches.
