Spa Etiquette

Spa arrival

If your treatment is part of a programme, it is advisable to arrive at the spa reception at least 30 minutes prior to your spa treatment reservation. This will give you time to complete a health questionnaire and to enjoy full use of the exclusive facilities at the spa. These include male and female changing rooms, male and female heat experiences, steam rooms, saunas, ice fountains, lifestyle showers and a vitality pool. Male and female relaxation areas and the beautiful courtyard offer peaceful areas to read, sleep or relax.

If you have reserved an individual Wellness appointment please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your treatment reservation to complete a health questionnaire and a consent form. 

Please be aware that late arrivals will not receive an extension to their treatment.

Scheduling an appointment

For further information on any of our lifestyle programmes and complementary and alternative medicine treatment courses, please contact the ESPA Life reservations team who will schedule an initial appointment with the Naturopath. Please note, all treatments, courses and programmes can be confirmed or secured with credit or debit card details.

What to bring

For your comfort we provide a luxurious robe, towels and slippers to use if your chosen booking makes you eligible to use the facilities. If you are a hotel guest you may wish to arrive in your bedroom robe to help with your continued relaxation. Please bring a bathing suit if you wish to use the unisex vitality pool. Within the changing rooms a wide range of amenities will be provided. For Wellness treatments booked independently (i.e. not forming part of a lifestyle programme) you can change within the treatment rooms themselves. 

Spa etiquette

The spa is a tranquil and relaxed environment. Please respect other guests' rights to privacy and serenity and do not use mobile phones within the spa. Smoking is prohibited throughout. 

Cancellation policy

The following cancellation charge will be incurred for any treatment or programme cancelled within the specified period:

  • 1 week prior to arrival day 50%
  • 48hrs prior to arrival day 100%

 

Homecare

To continue your spa experience at home, most products and supplements recommended by your Naturopath are available at spa reception. If not, they will be ordered specifically for you and may be either collected or delivered to your home (delivery costs will apply).

Gift vouchers

An ideal gift for someone special. Please contact the spa reservations team for details. Gift vouchers are non-refundable and must be presented at time of treatment or purchase.

Valuables

The spa accepts no responsibility for loss of valuables and jewellery at any time on the spa premises.

Lost property

All lost property found on the premises should be handed in at spa reception. Items will be stored for four months; if they are not collected within this time they will be donated to local charities. Liquids, under garments and hair brushes are kept for 24 hours only.

Prices

All prices are quoted in GBP and are subject to change at any time and include VAT where applicable.
