Quilted Craftsmanship Lands at Townhouse:
Lavenham Pop-Up
October 2025Few British brands balance heritage and modernity quite like Lavenham.
For over half a century, the Suffolk-born outerwear label has been perfecting the art of quilting – crafting coats, jackets and gilets that are as durable as they are distinctive. Each piece is still made in their Suffolk factory, where attention to detail and quality remain at the heart of everything they do.
This October, Lavenham will be joining us in Edinburgh for a very special residency at Gleneagles Townhouse. Alongside their timeless quilted classics – and some brand-new winter launches – they’ll be showcasing a rare opportunity to create something entirely your own.
For the duration of the pop-up, guests will be able to design a one-of-one Lavenham gilet through their Custom Gilet programme. From fabric to binding to studs, every detail can be tailored to your taste, and embroidery adds the finishing flourish. It’s a chance to step inside the world of true craftsmanship and walk away with a piece of outerwear that’s unmistakably yours.
Townhouse members and friends of Gleneagles may already be familiar with the brand through our own collaboration with Lavenham – a quilted jacket available exclusively at the Gleneagles retail arcade in Perthshire. The partnership reflects our shared ethos of quality, heritage and understated style, and this autumn’s residency brings that spirit right into the heart of Edinburgh.
As part of the pop-up, our members will enjoy a few thoughtful perks:
• Complimentary embroidery on all Custom Gilet orders
• 15% off on opening night, including items ordered in different sizes or colours not stocked at the event
• Complimentary shipping on all purchases
The Lavenham residency runs from Friday 24 – Sunday 26 October. To celebrate its arrival, we’ll be raising a glass on Thursday 23 October with an exclusive members’ preview evening – a first look at the collection, an opportunity to begin your custom order, and a moment to toast one of Britain’s most iconic outerwear brands.
Whether you’re browsing the latest quilted silhouettes, plotting your dream gilet, or simply curious to discover more about a British label with over fifty years of heritage, this is one to mark on the calendar.
