The End of the Line
Hidden beneath the hotel, The Cellar has safeguarded Gleneagles’ finest wines and spirits for more than a century. A hundred years ago, trains arrived from London carrying guests in search of long summer days in the Scottish countryside and glamorous evenings at Gleneagles. Alongside them came precious cargo, lowered by hand into the cellar below: fresh trout, Highland venison, oysters packed in ice and, perhaps most importantly, cases of Champagne stacked high.
Today, this historic space has been transformed into an intimate dining destination for up to twelve guests, nestled amongst one of Scotland’s most remarkable wine collections.
An Evening at The Cellar
The experience centres on a five-course tasting menu inspired by Scotland’s natural larder, paired with a curated selection of Dom Pérignon cuvées.
Guests can also discover a collection of rare vintages and bespoke tastings, offering a unique journey through the Maison’s creative heritage. An invitation to discover extraordinary food, exceptional Champagne and the enduring character of place.
