Taking place on Saturday 7th September and Saturday 12th October in the Gleneagles Ballroom, our One Hundred Year Ball, promises to be a glorious and glamourous affair…

Don your most glamourous cocktail attire and join us for an evening of fine dining, superb entertainment and unrivalled glamour. The evening begins with a Champagne reception in The Glendevon where you can expect exquisite canapés and a captivating ‘Beating The Retreat’ pipe band performance out on the lawn. Step back in time into the sumptuous surrounds of The Ballroom to indulge in a lavish five-course dinner featuring West Coast lobster, saddle of lamb and a tantalising rum-fuelled dessert – and each course expertly paired with fine wines. As the night beckons, take to the dancefloor with fabulous live music from ‘The Gleneagles Centenary Big Band’, playing swing music through the ages before carriages at midnight. It is set to be an unforgettable evening!

Guests wishing to stay the night of the Ball can take advantage of our overnight stay and ticket package. Starting from £1,450 for a Country Double Room and based on two sharing, this includes bed & breakfast, as well as two tickets to the Ball.

FAQs

What is included in my ticket?

Your ticket to the One Hundred Year Ball includes a Champagne and canapé reception in The Glendevon accompanied by a ‘Beating of the Retreat’ pipe band performance on The Glendevon Lawn. A five-course dinner – with expertly paired fine wines – is then served in The Ballroom along with live entertainment from the Gleneagles Centenary Big Band before dancing until midnight.

Overnight stays are not included in the ticket price but may be purchased alongside your ticket, depending on availability. Additional drinks may be purchased on the evening.

How much are tickets and how do I buy them?

Tickets for 7 September 2024 & 12 October 2024 are now sold out.

Tickets cannot be reserved by calling another number or by email. Tickets are limited to maximum of 10 per person and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I book a room at the hotel for the night of the event?

Yes, guests wishing to stay the night of the Ball can take advantage of our overnight stay package. Prices start from £1,450 for a Country Double Room, are based on two sharing and include bed & breakfast as well as two tickets to the Ball.

Packages at this rate can only be purchased by calling our dedicated ticket phone line 01764 694 213 between 10am-6pm Monday-Friday. Rooms are subject to availability. Tickets combined with overnight stays require a 50% deposit of the total package (non-transferable and non-refundable).

When is the Ball and what time does it start and finish?

The Ball starts promptly at 6pm in The Glendevon and ends at midnight in The Ballroom.

You are welcome to continue the celebrations in one of our bars.

What is the dress code?

It’s not every year Gleneagles’ celebrates its Centenary year… so this is the perfect occasion to don your most glamorous cocktail attire. Think: cocktail dresses, elegant evening gowns, velvet suits and dinner jackets. That said, we are in Scotland so your best Highland attire – whether that’s a kilt or trews – is also welcome.

Can children come to the Ball?

Our One Hundred Year Ball is set to be a grown-up, glamorous affair and runs from 6pm until midnight (a bit late for wee ones!) which is why the evening is just for adults.

However, wee ones are always welcome at The Glorious Playground so if you are bringing your little ones to stay with us on the night of the Ball, our team of Playground Planners can help organise babysitters for the evening. Simply call 01764 694 213 to book. The service is £20 per hour and must be booked for a minimum of 2 hours with no maximum duration attached. Subject to availability and requires 24-hour booking in advance. Children between 6-14 years old may share their parent’s room for £50 per child per night.

What is on the menu?

Our talented chefs have devised an indulgent five-course set menu for the evening. Expect a Champagne reception and exquisite canapés followed by a lavish five-course dinner featuring West Coast lobster, saddle of lamb and a tantalising rum-fuelled dessert – and each course expertly paired with fine wines.

Please note, menu is subject to change up until the event itself. Additional drinks may be purchased on the evening.

What about dietary requirements and allergies?

Our dedicated team will be in touch via phone or email in the lead-up to the event to confirm dietary requirements and allergies.

Will my party be sat together?

Tables for the evening will accommodate up to 10 guests each maximum. We will do our best to accommodate seating arrangements to ensure that you and your guests can enjoy the evening together, however, please note it is not guaranteed that large parties will be sat together. We will inform you in advance if this is the case.

Are there any terms and conditions I should be aware of?

Tickets are subject to availability. A maximum number of ten tickets per purchase. Tickets may only be redeemed once, may not be exchanged for cash, replaced if lost and are non-transferable and non-refundable. Ticket-only purchases require full payment upfront. Tickets combined with overnight stays require a 50% deposit of the total package (non-transferable and non-refundable).
