Join us in our most famous restaurant, The Strathearn. Having been at the beating heart of the hotel since it opened in 1924, this is a space with more than a touch of magic in its veins. To the flicker of candlelight and the tinkle of a grand piano, settle into the sumptuous surroundings of our periwinkle blue velvet banquettes and scallop back burgundy chairs for a night to remember. Here, in our Art Deco-inspired dining room, everything from Champagne to cheese is delivered via the theatre of our signature Gueridon trolley service. Watch as our team hand-cuts your salmon tableside or bring a touch more spark to the closing act with a flambéed dessert. Included in your rate is a three-course meal of the team’s modern Scottish cooking, which puts seasonality and local produce at the forefront of every plate.
Children are warmly welcomed to The Strathearn, should you like to bring the family.
Before you reach for your evening’s finery, stretch your legs across our 850 acres with sign-posted walks through ancient woodland. Closer to home, take a swing at our complimentary pitch and putt course or accept defeat altogether and lounge in our outdoor onsen for hours on end.
For something even more adventurous, our Playground Planners are always on hand to book additional activities that range from our heritage pursuits like gun dog training and the ancient art of falconry through to state-of-the-art sporting facilities at Gleneagles Sporting Club with its tennis and padel courts, world-class climbing wall and equestrian centre.

The next day, join us for breakfast, which we’ve heard some people refer to as iconic (but we’d never be so bold as to say so ourselves). The stage is set in the scullery for a feast worthy of meticulous browsing. Something from the salmon station, perhaps? Or maybe you’d rather make your own Bloody Mary while you weigh up the merits of pastries before or after your savoury choices. With a full Scottish selection – haggis included – as well as an a la carte, the only foreseeable issue is not being able to decide on what to have.
