Game, set and match…we have your racquet sports covered at Gleneagles with 8 tennis courts and three padel courts. Whether it’s a friendly hit on our outdoor tennis courts to a competitive game of padel on our indoor courts, racquet sports can be played all year round at Gleneagles. The Gleneagles Sporting Club

Gleneagles Sporting Club is home to tennis, climbing and the fastest growing racquet sport in the world, padel. With a bright, spacious and relaxing lounge area, it’s a space to enjoy a coffee whilst catching up on emails or just kicking back in style when a well-deserved break is in order after a hard-fought match on court.

Featuring two hard surfaced tennis courts, three padel courts, two doubles and a singles academy court, all with Mondo Supercourt XN artificial turf, as well as a 7m high and 27m wide climbing and bouldering wall, it’s time to find out what all the fuss is about at the Gleneagles Sporting Club!

Padel in Scotland

The fastest growing racquet sport in the world has landed at Gleneagles with the installation of two new Padel courts. If you’ve played tennis or squash you will love Padel, it’s a hybrid of both sports. It’s typically played in doubles on an enclosed court roughly 25% smaller than the size of a tennis court.

Gleneagles is delighted to bring Padel to the property for the first time. If you’ve not heard about it yet – Padel is the fastest growing racquet sport in the world – a really sociable game that has elements of both tennis and squash. The game should always be played as a four to get the greatest enjoyment out of the sport. If you don’t know the rules don’t worry, we’ll have someone on hand to explain them!

We can even offer Padel coaching to get you from complete beginner to Padel Pro!

 

PRICEs

We have a singles court and two doubles courts available to hire:

Doubles Court hire is £60 per hour and includes racquets and balls for up to four players.

Singles Court hire is £40 per hour and includes racquets and balls for up to two players.

Each of our courts can be booked in one-hour blocks.

Padel Coaching is also available in one hour sessions:

1 player – £95

2 players – £120

3 players – £145

4 players – £170

Whether you’re a complete beginner or playing performance tennis, coaching at Gleneagles can be tailored to your needs.

Our coaching team are available for private lessons, either for individuals or for up to four people. We also run a weekly coaching programme during term-time with classes ranging from Tots tennis through to beginner/advanced adults as well as performance players.  There will be a suitable class for you, and you can attend these on a drop-in basis during your stay.

Private lessons are a great way to work on specific aspects of your game and we have a great coaching team to cater for the complete beginner to those playing advanced club tennis. You can either choose an individual lesson or opt for a private session for two, three or four people together.
