Exploring the estate with their very own Adventure Guide
Unleash the spirit of eco-adventure with our Little Glen Adventure Guide, embracing bug hunting and ecology. At check-in each child receives their own guide, along with a special gift waiting for them in their rooms. Use these to uncover animals, activities, and secret spots throughout the estate.
Collect stamps along the way, and on check-out show your completed guide to receive a special badge. Parents join in the fun with your wee explorer, ensuring a safe adventure as you explore the outdoors together.

Badges for explorers
After gathering all six stamps in their Adventure Guide, little ones earn a completion badge at the end of their holiday. But the collection doesn’t stop there!
Kids enrolled in our school holidays programme receive a special badge, along with badges for other Glen activities kids take part in — from gun dogs & ferrets to mini-off roading or falconry.
In-room gifts and amenities
Little Glen Adventurers receive nature-inspired in-room gifts, fostering their connection with the outdoors. From fluffy squirrels for the very smallest, to bug hunting kits to use alongside their Adventure Guide.
After all the exploring it’s time to retreat back to their room with fluffy dressing gowns and slippers just for little ones.
Dining Experiences for Wee Ones
A colourful, vibrant and fully supervised crèche for 2-8 year olds, Little Glen is a safe, fun and stimulating play environment for happy tots and adventurous spirits. Stimulate imagination with an arts and crafts workshop, indoor treehouses and toy campfires – bringing the outdoors in for immmersive play and learning.
Enoy a complimentary 90 minute session per child, with additional sessions bookable on-site via our Playground Planners.
Water truly is the stuff of life here at Gleneagles, and our swimming pools are an abundance of joy. Our beautiful lagoon-shaped pool is perfect for family fun. Splash around, then wrap up in fluffy towels in our roomy, child-friendly changing rooms.
Glen Adventurers Programme
Immerse your young ones in a world of exploration with our Glen Adventurers Programme, specially crafted for curious minds of various ages during school half terms and summer holidays. Enrolled children aged 3-7 years are in for a day filled with thrilling experiences, from Den Building to Woodland Pottery, and Nature Art to exploring our Little Garden.
Adventure Kit
On their first day each Adventurer is equipped with a complimentary Adventure Kit with essentials including a backpack, flask and snack box to take with them on their escapades.
Building confidence amongst a range of outdoor and trail-based adventures, our little Adventurers are rewarded with a special badge and can go on to collect more as they take part in other pursuits and activities around the estate.
How does it work?
Drop your young ones off with our team at 9.30am (dressed for the Scottish weather!) and get ready to hear all about the days’ adventures when you collect them again at 3:15pm.
It really is the best of both worlds, a chance for you to fit in a spa treatment, a peaceful stroll around the estate or a leisurely lunch safe in the knowledge that your child is off exploring, meeting new friends and learning new skills. With lunch, snacks, and refreshments provided, and an Adventure Kit waiting upon arrival.
- 3-4yrs: An action packed programme designed to encourage interaction, learning and discovery. Activities will include learning woodland skills, meeting the ponies as well as getting messy with nature art and exploring our Little Garden.
- 5-7yrs: A chance for your little ones to learn new skills and get close to nature. It’s not just about learning – they’ll also have plenty of time to burn off some energy! Activities will include tree climbing on the low ropes course, den building, orienteering and woodland pottery.
