The Winter Lodge
Our seasonal Winter Lodge, for adults only, offers a warm and cosy space for you to come and go as you please. Sit back in comfort with the daily newspaper or read a book while enjoying freshly roasted coffee and scrumptious home baked cakes in the early afternoon or come back after an afternoon adventure, sit in front of the fire and enjoy a sharing charcuterie board and sip on a fine Macallan whisky cocktail. We’ll have musical entertainment as things start to warm up in the late afternoon, a chance to challenge old friends and new, or family to a traditional game of Ring Toss, scrabble, cards or dominoes!

As well as access to our Winter Lodge your Adventure Pass gives you access to a choice of two experiences during your stay (pre-booking activity is advised).

A Bird of Prey Display at Dusk
As the winter skies darken, wrap up warm and join us at The Mews for a fire lit falconry display of the most graceful birds of prey. Watch our Harris Hawks in action and be mesmerized by the glare of one of our Golden Eagles.

A Tomahawk Axe Throwing Experience
A chance to master the skill of Axe Throwing! Visit the Trailyard where our instructors will teach you how to wield the mighty tomahawk axe and take part in a supervised free throwing session.

A Guided Estate Walk
An opportunity to wrap up warm in the fresh and crisp Scottish air and take a brisk guided walk across the estate led by one of our Trail Yard team. An opportunity to spot local wildlife and soak up the scenery of the snow-capped hills and Munros of Perthshire.
