We are delighted to share for the first time ever, Gleneagles is producing its very own limited edition Easter egg.
We are so proud to create this egg entirely in-house, produced by our talented Pastry Team led by Phill Skinazi. Drawing inspiration from the flavours of berries, peat and the purity of Perthshire countryside, our pastry team has teamed up with the French chocolate producer, Valrhona, to create our very own Gleneagles blend 64% dark chocolate for this special project.
The egg is filled with our Gleneagles x Glenturret collaboration 11 year old single malt whisky truffles with sweet tasting notes of toffee, cinnamon and vanilla alongside aromatic flavours of dark spice, and rich fruit cake reminiscent of fireside evenings at Gleneagles.
Taking inspiration from the hotel interior, the packaging pays homage to the glamorous art deco 1920s design found throughout the hotel and a particular nod to our Century Bar lamps.
Our Easter egg is a truly luxurious indulgence and celebration of local flavour notes using the finest ingredients from around the world.
The egg will be available for collection from the Gleneagles & Co shop from Wednesday 30 March and will retail at £38. A small and special limited number of eggs will be produced, so to avoid disappointment, please pre-order today by contacting gleneaglesandco@gleneagles.com
