Shand Adventure
We're delighted to be partnering with Scottish bike brand, Shand, to offer guests expert-led cycling experiences on Shand’s bespoke Stoater bikes built specifically for our guests. Designed to traverse a multitude of terrains, it's the Stoater’s versatility which make them perfect for the incredible cycle routes across the Perthshire countryside.
The Trail Yard team will spend up to an hour with you to get fitted on one of our Shand Stoaters and talking through the finer details of the bike before one of our guides leads you on your way to the cycle routes.
Heading off from Gleneagles in the heart of Scotland, we have a choice of three cycle routes to suit any level of cyclist, from a 43 km Glorious Glendevon Gravel ride, a 56 km Drummond Castle Circuit up to a longer 92 km Loch Earn Loop, it’s entirely up to you how far you want to explore.
From steep climbs on gravel tracks overlooking the Glendevon reservoirs to the smooth quiet back roads of rural Perthshire.
You’ll be met by one of the team for an indulgent picnic lunch and the chance of spotting Osprey and Red Kites or simply taking in the views of the Trossachs National Park. Don’t worry, we will agree where and when you want to re-fuel before leaving the estate!
