LOCH FREUCHIE,
2.5 -3 HOURS, Difficulty: ENTRY
A family friendly 7.5 mile circular loch walk, entirely on farm tracks or minor roads making it ideal for young children in backpack carriers or buggies. Easy terrain in open countryside amidst a picture-postcard setting.
BEN A’AN,
2-4 HOURS, Difficulty: ENTRY/MODERATE
Known as the mountain in miniature, Ben A’an is at the heart of the Trossachs, making the summit a truly wonderful viewpoint. On a clear day the views are spectacular from the moment you step on the path, right up to the summit. A small hill walk suitable for all levels of hikers.
BEN LEDI,
4-6 HOURS, Difficulty: MODERATE
The highest mountain in the central Trossachs to catch some sweeping vistas. Classed as a ‘Corbett’ this is a great training climb before beginning your ‘Munro bagging’ journey. Our mountain guides will choose a flexible route suited to your needs.
BEN CHONZIE,
4-5 HOURS, Difficulty: MODERATE/CHALLENGE
Classed as one of Scotland’s ‘easier’ Munro’s, this half day excursion has lots of offer. The highest point in a vast area of wild land between Loch Tay and Strathearn, you’ll be led on a well maintained landrover track for most of the hike before heading cross country to the summit. Discover a stone shelter to stop for a hot drink and respite from the elements before beginning the descent.
From bespoke guided excursions to hiking in the wild highlands, a day exploring the Ochil Hills and beyond offers something for everyone. So don’t forget to pack your hiking boots when joining us in Perthshire!
