We’ve packed away our picnic offering for the winter months, but once we see the signs of spring we’ll be sure to have the perfect picnic experience ready for you.

Picnic experiences are available exclusively to our resident guests between late April and September and require 48 hours’ notice.

We subscribe to the school of thought that everything tastes better when eaten with a good view. Enjoy the finest Scottish buffet at the top of a mountain or tuck into sandwiches by the side of a loch – wherever you choose to eat, we’ll be there to provide the feast.

Allow us to pick the perfect spot to set up your fully laid table, which you’ll arrive at via our iconic Gleneagles Land Rovers. Expect a veritable banquet and team members on hand to ensure smooth sailing.

Our cosy fishing bothy is just a fly’s throw from the hotel, but a world away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Relax in our authentic hut with your favourite people or spill out onto the shores of Laich Loch as the ducks drift by. Allow our team to put on a spread piled high with seafood, salads and sandwiches, a feast worthy of the greatest get-togethers.

The Strathearn is the beating heart of our hotel, and the original restaurant from when we opened in 1924. This legendary dining room has hosted the most prestigious parties and glorious gatherings over the years, and is now yours to experience. There’s a modern Scottish fine dining menu and all the trappings that make it feel more than a little bit magical, from trolley service to live piano music.
