Inspired by the wild parties and glamorous lifestyle of the St. Moritz jet set, whose legendary soirées helped give the town’s social scene its reputation for glamour, intrigue and good times, this sparkling new spot is made for evenings that start with dinner and have no particular plan for what happens next…
Dress up, gather your favourite people and pull up a seat at the bar for aperitivo hour from 5.30pm, when the drinks will be flowing and the energy high. Sink into an armchair beside the crackling fire with a Singleton whisky cocktail, perch at the bar and watch the room come to life before gathering ’round the best seat in the house for candlelit fondue feasting with friends.
At 7.30pm, supper is served. A three-course set menu – designed for sharing and indulgence – beings with a generous sharing platter of prosciutto, mortadella, pâté and Connage Gouda and accompaniments.
Then comes the main event: cheese fondue made to a recipe inspired by the legendary ski-in, ski-out St. Moritz hotel, Suvretta House. Served with pretzels, sourdough and crudités for dipping, alongside potato & gherkin and fennel salads, it’s made for passing, dipping and going back for more. Finish with a hazelnut tart served with Singleton crème fraîche and chocolate sauce – rich, indulgent and best enjoyed with something good in your glass.
And while the food is all taken care of, the drinks are very much yours to mull over… Expect crisp martinis and expertly crafted Singleton cocktails taking centre stage – including a signature creation showcasing The Singleton 21-year-old single malt whisky. Here, the drinks list is made for the occasion: cocktails to kick things off, another to keep the conversation flowing and perhaps one more when nobody is quite ready to leave.
After dinner, let the evening take over. With the restaurant open till late, the music a little louder and the atmosphere gathering pace, it’s time to swap stories, lose track of time and see what glorious mischief might unfold…
