Golf Season Begins

With our esteemed Pro-Am now in its eighth year, we are delighted to welcome back Johnnie Walker Blue Label as a partner for a second year running. Garnering global engagement, we are proud that our Pro-Am continues to be a truly international event with participating teams spanning as far as the USA, UAE, Italy and The Netherlands! The popularity of the event speaks for itself with this year’s event already sold out, but you can register for next summer’s tournament which will take place between the 8th and 11th July 2025, it’s limited to 22 teams so run, don’t walk!

Always a day of golf like no other, The Glorious Golf Gathering returns this year on Friday 6th September. It’s a celebratory journey through the 18 holes of The PGA Centenary Course, punctuated with gastronomic delights from start to finish! Expect the finest food and drink pairings and incredible prizes for hole-in-ones and long-drives!

We’re also delighted to have completed a 5-month state-of-the-art irrigation project on the Jack Nicklaus-designed PGA Centenary Course, which formerly hosted both the Ryder Cup and the Solheim Cup. The project will further enhance playing conditions across the 18-hole championship golf course and will see the installation of a new, highly efficient Rain Bird irrigation management system that will help reduce both water usage and power consumption. Beneath the golf course, 24.5 miles of new pipework have been laid, as well as 33.5 miles of cabling. 1,414 individual sprinkler heads have been strategically positioned so water can be applied more accurately over an eight-hour cycle, without the need to close the golf course.

Gleneagles is committed to conserving natural resources; this state-of-the-art irrigation system will reduce water consumption on the PGA Centenary Course by up to 30% helping us protect one of the planet’s most valuable resources for generations to come.
